Terrace House
A proposed three-bedroom maisonette in Kikuyu’s cool, green surroundings, with a generous upper-floor terrace that extends the living space outdoors.
- Scope
- Three-bedroom maisonette
- Location
- Kikuyu, Kenya
The project
Alongside its three bedrooms, the house gives generous space to outdoor living. A covered pergola shelters the upper-floor terrace from rain while allowing daylight through, creating a place to sit in the sun.
Front approach
Privacy on the terrace
The timber screens help shield the terrace from outside views. Slender railings repeat their vertical lines along the open edge.
